How to mix a CBD booster

Premixed CBD e-liquid has already proven popular, this might be due to not many people knowing how to mix an unflavoured CBD booster with their current favourite e-liquid. I’m sure if more people knew how to, they would rather this method of vaping CBD as the booster is higher in concentrate than pre-mixed CBD e-liquid.

There are two ways of mixing your CBD booster with your e-liquid, you can use the CBD as a shot for a shortfill or add the CBD to your tank which is a little bit more accurate. Please look at our CBD Dosage Blog, to see what your daily dosage is, only then you would be able to calculate the correct percentage of CBD to mix.

Here at House of Vapes - London we currently have an extensive range of CBD products from brands such as Hello CBD, CBDfx, Somnio CBD & more.

    The Tank Calculation

Here are a couple of examples of how to calculate a desired daily dosage of 10mg CBD with a 500mg bottle and a 300mg of CBD Booster pure base.

    A drop from a bottle/dropper is equivalent to 0.05ml.

A 10ml bottle of CBD that contains 500mg means that 1ml of the bottle is equivalent to 50mg CBD. In order to achieve a dosage of 10mg, you would need to divide the 1ml by 5 and add the 0.2ml of CBD to your tank then fill up the rest with your favourite e-juice. In order to add 0.2ml to your tank, you will need to use 4 drops of CBD Booster.

A 10ml bottle of CBD that contains 300mg means that 1ml of the bottle is equivalent to 30mg CBD. In order to achieve a dosage of 10mg, you would need to divide the 1ml by 3 and add the 0.33ml of CBD to your tank then fill up the rest with your favourite e-juice. In order to add 0.33ml to your tank, you will need to use around 6 or 7 drops of Pure Base CBD.

    In summary:

Depending on the CBD strength used, you will get different results. All you need is quick and simple maths to calculate the correct number of drops needed. We have created a chart with the strengths available from us to make it even easier for you.

    The Shortfill Calculation

Similar to the Nicotine Booster Guide, in order to get to the desired CBD dosage, you will need to add 10ml booster bottle to a shortfill then calculate the following CBD strength added (300mg) divided by end result (60ml) = 5mg per 1ml. This means that if your daily dosage is 10mg, you can use 2ml of your mixed 300mg 60ml CBD.

Below we have created a chart with the most used boosters mixed with shortfills.

Please note that you should NOT use nicotine with CBD e-liquids, as nicotine can counteract the effects of CBD.

    Conclusion

Both premixed CBD e-liquid and unflavoured CBD boosters are great, however, the boosters are financially better, and you can enjoy your favourite flavours with the addition of CBD. In addition to this, we believe that it is easier to monitor your daily CBD usage when using a CBD booster whether the tank method or the shortfill method.
