    How to use Nicotine Booster

TPD came into effect in May 2017, this meant that all sales of e-liquid containing nicotine in bottles larger than 10ml were banned.

What is a shortfill? We are sure you have heard this term before with the majority of the best vape juice brands now offering them as an option.

Shortfill is defined as a flavoured e-liquid base (no nicotine) sold in a larger bottle and underfilled by manufactures. Accommodating space to add your own unflavoured nicotine booster, most are 18mg strength. Simply add this to a 50ml short-fill e-liquid bottle, shake the bottle thoroughly giving you a result of 60ml containing 0.3% or 3mg nicotine. In order to get to the desired nicotine strength, you will simply need to calculate the following; nicotine strength added (18mg) divided by end result (60ml) = 0.3% (3mg nicotine).

Below we have created a very handy chart for you to save and use whenever you feel like it.

E-Liquid (ml) Nicotine Strength Nic Shots Result
    25 ml 18 mg 1/2 3mg in 30ml
    25 ml 20 mg 1/2 3.3mg in 30ml
    40 ml 18 mg 1 3.6mg in 50ml
    40 ml 20 mg 1 4mg in 50ml
    40 ml 18 mg 2 6mg in 60ml
    40 ml 20 mg 2 6.6mg in 60ml
    50 ml 18 mg 1 3mg in 60ml
    50 ml 20 mg 1 3.3mg in 60ml
    80 ml 18 mg 1 2mg in 90ml
    80 ml 20 mg 1 2.2mg in 90ml
    80 ml 18mg 2 3.6mg in 100ml
    80 ml 20 mg 2 4mg in 100ml

Bottles that are 50ml+ are actually cheaper than multiple 10ml bottles. However, you will need to be careful whilst handling the nicotine booster. Please take extra care, and wash hands after filling up your Shortfill. People can still use the Shortfill without adding a nicotine booster, however, most of these liquids have extra flavour concentrate added to accommodate for when the booster is added.

    Verdict

Those that sub-ohm will really appreciate Shortfills as it is far easier to carry one large bottle around. It is also worth it financially, as one 50ml Shortfill with a nicotine booster is cheaper than six 10ml bottles. Another great thing about Shortfills is that, by Shortfills bypassing TPD, manufactures are able to release products whenever they create a remarkable flavour, more flavours for everyone!
