  • Are You Using The Right CBD Dosage?

    November 07, 2018

    Are you using the right CBD dosage?

    We all know it’s frustrating to try something out but not knowing how much to have. Most people would tell you to “take one drop of CBD per day”, but do we actually think that’s correct? We think not!

    Due to there not being a recommended daily intake, there is no official serving size for CBD. There are tons of articles about the benefits, but none are about correct dosages.

    In order to tell if it’s the right dosage, you will need to consider some important factors such as;

    • Concentration of CBD used
    • Weight of individual
    • Individuals body chemistry

    There isn’t a “one size fits all” dosage, no doubt there will be some trial and error whilst measuring your correct dosage, but it will be worth it!

    So, what’s my dosage? 2 simple tips below to help you find out:

    Choosing your CBD dosage!

    1. Estimate your dosage based on your body weight

      Individuals with a larger body mass will require more CBD to experience the effects. Try taking 1-6mg of CBD for every 10 pounds of body weight based on said persons desired level of effect.

      cbd Dosage Table

      On most CBD bottles it will state the percentage of CBD per dose;

      Serving Size: X drops

      Amount Per Serving: X mg

      2. Start small and increase gradually

      If you have a friend that weighs approximately the same as you and he recommends taking the same dosage as him. Please don’t!

      We are all made differently, we all have a unique history with the use of substances, medications and all other things we put into our body. The most important thing is to base the dosage on your weight to start with to see how your body reacts and gradually increase the intake of CBD. Monitor it closely until you find the correct dosage that works for you.

      How to Measure Your CBD Vape Dosage

      Vaping CBD is a fairly new concept, they are in the form of CBD e-liquids and/or cartridge system. They are easy to use and a very enjoyable experience. You would need to start by estimating how much CBD is in a dropper, then you would know how much CBD you are putting in an atomiser tank. Keep an eye out for the amount of times you need to refill your tank.

      If your dosage is 18mg and you are using a 100mg / 10ml bottle of CBD E-liquid. A 2ml tank would contain approximately 20mg of CBD. This is not 100% accurate, but with regular monitoring you’ll be able to measure your CBD intake.
