    What are vape kits?

    Vape kits are electronic devices that are designed to produce a vapour by vaporising an e-liquid, replicating a similar experience to traditional smoking.

    These vape kits come in a variety of different shapes and sizes and are made by an array of prestigious manufacturers from across the world such as Aspire, Innokin, SMOK and many more vaping brands.

    What does a vape kit consist of?

    Most vape kits consist of the following main parts:

    Battery - This is usually built-in to the device and can be recharged. Some more advanced devices use external vaping batteries which are charged in an external vaping battery bay charger.

    Tank - This is the chamber that houses the vape coil and e-liquid which is vaporised and turned into a vapour.

    Coil - Also known as a filter or atomiser, is effectively a metal spring with cotton wool wrapped in-between it. This heating element soaks up the e-liquid, which once heated is turned into a water vapour that the user inhales.

    The battery sends power to the coil within the tank, which makes the coil heat up, vaporising the e-liquid saturated on the cotton of the coil to produce a vapour.

    What are the types of vape kits?

    Through the many years of innovation within the vaping industry, manufacturers have designed a variety of different types of vape kits, which are all classified within their own groups such as starter vape kits, pen-style vape kits, pod-style vape kits and more.

    These different types of vape kits offer a variety of different features, such as sub ohm vape kits are only compatible with high VG e-liquids and produce vast amounts of vapour, whereas pod-style vape kits tend to be more suitable for 50/50 e-liquids.

    Which vape kits are best for beginners?

    This really depends on how far along your vaping journey you are - for all beginners who are just making the switch we recommend starter vape kits such as pen-style or pod-style vape kits.

    For those who have been vaping for a longer period of time and want to upgrade their device, we would recommend looking at a sub ohm device.

    Before making the switch to a sub ohm vape kit it is worth considering that these devices use high VG e-liquids and if used with 50/50 e-liquids or low VG e-liquids they are prone to leaking.
